Well, I finally gave in and watched this. It is not a great film, and only Ramy Youssef and Willem Dafoe turn in truly good performances (Mark Ruffalo and Jerrod Carmichael are particularly terrible). But the universal swooning praise and celebration the movie has received says some incredibly fascinating (and dire) things about our current society.
