onFIRSTlisten: Coldplay's Ghost Stories

Well, this is definitely Chris Martin's conscious uncoupling album.  The feel is very chill and not very uplifting.  The melodies and hooks are also low-key: they're there, but they don't jump out at you.  The album seems good, but it's not a Coldplay I've heard before and will take getting used to.  It's certainly not a runaway home run like their last…
