My 2025 reading and watching stats

And how many people use Goodreads? Somehow, I was the only one of them to read Italo Calvino’s Numbers in the Dark this year! Crazy.

So, I watched 438 films, reviewing 288 of them on Letterboxd. That’s about 35 more films watched than last year!

These were my highest-rated 2025 releases (not sure how they decided the order within each rating group). I’ll be seeing plenty more before the Oscars (and my version, the Posties) hit in mid-March, but look for these to figure in my lists then.

In numbers, I saw 51 releases from 2025 and 387 earlier releases. Of the 438 films I watched, 65 were rewatches. And I reviewed (on Letterboxd) 65.1% of the films I watched.
