The odds are extremely high that no one reading this has seen (or should see) a Guy Maddin film – unless I expressly showed it to them.  Winnipeg director Maddin has a very distinct flavor to his work: silent film meets postmodern dreamscape.  It's captivating to me, and I've just finished his most recent feature-length film, Keyhole.
