Jojo Rabbit

The marketing for Taika Waititi's Jojo Rabbit fooled me.  Focusing mostly on Jojo's imaginary friend, Hitler, the trailers emphasized wacky irreverent shenanigans.  And, yes, the film starts out more or less in that vein.  The beginning has a Moonrise Kingdom tone that fades rather quickly into a more balanced dark dramedy.
