It's no secret that Woody Allen is my favorite director, and the annual release of his new film is an event for me. This year, I had high expectations early on, since it pairs Allen with two of my favorite actors: Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone. Of course, those high expectations were made to be disappointed, but I still enjoyed the imperfect film.
