How La La Land made me like West Side Story
I have never liked the film of West Side Story. I am a Stephen Sondheim devotee, and the show boasts his first professional lyrics, but they're frankly (and he attests to this) not that good. I saw the film when I was young, and it seemed dated and filled with dorky dancing. So I have loudly and proudly flown my anti-West Side flag.
