Her is written and directed by the man behind Being John Malkovitch and Adaptation (both written by Charlie Kaufman), so it's no surprise that it's a film full of imagination and humanity.  In his first original screenplay, Spike Jonze writes about a man (Joaquin Phoenix) who falls in love with his AI Operating System, voiced by Scarlett Johansson.
