Everything Good

Sometimes, I want to be sealed away
from any and all media
I don’t already own:

my library
my DVDs
my music collection 
.

We would live in some sort of somewhere 
and pray
and sleep
(my cat and I),

and somehow we’d stay alive. 

As long as I’m dreaming, I may as well dream
that we never would have 
to eat
or clean
or take prescriptio…
