In Beasts of the Southern Wild, the titular animals are both the humans – primitive bayou dwellers in a place called The Bathtub – and the aurochs – prehistoric animals frozen in the Ice Age and let loose on the world by melting icecaps.  Yep, it's that kind of movie.  And, in fact, that pretty much is the movie.
