Bad Times at the El Royale is, quite nakedly, a wannabe Tarantino movie.  All the elements are there, down to the chapter cards.  Which makes me wonder, did writer-director Drew Goddard set out to make an homage, or is all this original in his head?

Now, saying the film is a Tarantino knock-off doesn't mean it's not enjoyable.  It is true pulp fiction…
