Arrival isn't your usual alien movie. Instead of fighting aliens, it's about deciphering an alien language. Which, on the surface, seems really dull. But I'm not your usual sic-fi guy. I don't like the slick, actiony pictures built on a computer. I like the more cerebral stuff: 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report. And Arrival…
