I haven’t read anything about the film yet: these are just initial reactions. 

I never expected Abbas Kiarostami to become a favorite director of mine, but I think he’s getting there. He’s such a conceptual filmmaker. His projects hit at a slightly different area of the brain. Underneath his work, there is always a deep intellectual foundation.
